RYT200
Curvy Yoga Certified
Yoga for Cancer Care

Elisabeth's goal as an instructor is to create a safe, supported, body positive environment for clients of all shapes, sizes and abilities. She loves inviting people who are new to pilates and yoga to explore the myriad of benefits each practice has to offer.

In 2008 when Elisabeth began practicing yoga she felt like an unlikely yogi, inflexibly and curvy. She struggled to find ways to adapt yoga to work in her body and ultimately travelled to study with Anna Guest-Jelley, founder of Curvy Yoga. She returned to Minnesota with a calling to teach to people who are unsure if yoga is right for them.  The addition of pilates training was a natural extension for students who wanted to focus on core strength and flexibility, while working to connect breath and movement.

Elisabeth teaches Stott reformer pilates,  Vinyasa, gentle, slow flow, chair, restorative, yin, Curvy Yoga, and Yoga for Cancer Care. In addition to focusing on safe, supported alignment, she also incorporates breath work, and stillness to each class, helping students to center and ground themselves and to find balance in their life, both on and off the mat and reformer.

Elisabeth enjoys working one on one in private Yoga and pilates sessions, working together to meet student's specific goals and needs.  Private sessions are a great way to start a yoga practice that tailors individual modifications for each student and allows for a comfortable transition into classes.

Oksana M

Certified Pilates Instructor

Oksana loved music from the very beginning and began dancing from a very young age. She danced, competed in ballroom dancing, and was in music school for seven years. She completed her master's degree in music and choral arts and still loves music and performance arts to this day. Oksana wanted to work with people that were injured and get them feeling better so she went to school and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), there was a wide range of people that she was helping with endless problems through physical therapy.   With this background she saw just how important it is for people to be pro-active about their health and Pilates was a great method to this.  She then became a Certified Pilates Instructor.  What Oksana enjoys most about Pilates is that anyone could do it, no matter how old or how young. Jenny B

Certified Personal Trainer

Whether hitting the gym, participating in group fitness classes or going for a run, fitness has always been a part of Jenny's daily routine.  When she decided it was time to rejoin the work force after several years of staying home with her three daughters, it only seemed natural to pursue a career in the field of fitness.  She obtained her ACE Personal Trainer Certification, and began her career leading small group boot camp classes.  She has continued to expand her experience in Personal Training, working with a variety of individual and small group clients in a fitness center setting.

After many years of experiencing chronic back pain due to a disc herniation and subsequent lumbar decompression surgery, Jenny decided to incorporate yoga and Pilates into her fitness routine.  Finding the postural balance and breath work to be life changing for pain management, Jenny decided to expand her professional knowledge in the area.  She obtained a Mind/Body Specialist Certification from ACE, and starting leading mat Pilates classes.  She is currently seeking her STOTT Pilates certification, so that she can help others discover the many health benefits of Pilates.

Jenny enjoys working with a variety of individuals. She loves getting new exercisers excited about fitness by helping them get comfortable with movement, equipment and the fitness environment in general. She also has a passion for creating workouts for experienced exercisers to keep them challenged, motivated and excited about working out.  As she has consistently exercised throughout three pregnancies, with babies and small children and through her struggles with back pain, Jenny truly believes that there is a workout for everyone in every situation.  Her goal is to help people discover that fitness is not a dreaded chore, but a fun activity that you do because you love your body, not because you hate it!

Personally, Jenny has a lot of interests and hobbies that keep her balanced, including writing, sewing and gardening.  She likes to explore healthy foods through sprouting and fermenting.  She also enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.  Her philosophy to living a healthy life is: Breathe, Sweat, Connect.  She hopes to help her clients take the time to breathe, find the motivation to move, and the inspiration to connect to something without a screen.
