Imagine an exercise program that you look forward to, that engages you, and that leaves you refreshed and alert with a feeling of physical and mental well-being. Pilates (pronounced puh-LAH-teez) will do all this...and more.

It is a series of controlled movements engaging your body and mind, performed one on one. The exercises can be done on a mat and/or on a machine called the reformer.

At Balance For Life, Pilates sessions are personal one-on-one or small classes with a skilled instructor who will customize the program to your body and goals.

Pilates is very beneficial for any individuals with injuries, tension, poor posture, weak muscles, and/or low flexibility. Pilates can be for a beginner up to an experienced athlete.

Our Pilates program incorporates use of state of the art commercial equipment from STOTT that includes: mat, chair, reformer with vertical frame and all accessories.

A miracle? Not really. Pilates is a safe, sensible exercise system that will help you look and feel your very best. No matter what your age or condition, it will work for you. Pilates will:
